I realized that I am not making as much progress as I would like, especially now that it has been 6 weeks since I've set my personal goal. Although it makes a difference that everyday I'm telling myself that I need to find the time to exercise, I'm not actually exercising because I usually procrastinate and then realize that it's too dark to go running. I'm managing to run on average once a week, which is an improvement from the past in which I ran maybe once a month or whenever I noticed that my jeans were starting to not fit as well. I am going to set a schedule to keep me on track. My class schedule makes availabilities for running in my neighborhood (before the sun sets) on Mondays and Fridays. So starting from now, I am going to write reminders in my agenda to ensure that I will do it. I will also write in reminders to do strength exercises on the weekdays. Since my morning schedule is usually a bit difficult to manage, I will do the strength exercises at night if I did not have the chance to do them in the morning.
Yesterday, I ran for about 10 minutes around my neighborhood with my dog. The air was crispy cold and it hurt a little to breathe. I did 10 lunges on each side today.
