Week 2

I chose to exercise more as a goal for this class because I generally do not work out very often. I tend to find excuses to not work out (ie. too little time, too tired, it's too dark outside to go running). I usually run during school breaks or when I start to notice that my waist line is becoming a bit wider than usual.

I spent last Friday at Disneyland all day. My legs became very tired from walking towards the end of the night. On Saturday, I hiked a trail (approx 3 miles round trip?) to and from the Griffith Observatory. The hike to the observatory was uphill for the most part. I struggled to keep my balance as I was going downhill.  For the remainder of the day and the next few days, my feet and legs were sore, and so I decided to take a break. On Tuesday morning, I did not have class so I woke up to go for a run. I jogged for 15 minutes with a break during the halfway point. It was one of the more difficult jogs I've done in a long time, especially since my legs were still recovering from this weekend's activities. After the jog, I stretched. I did 2 sets of 15 crunches on my yoga ball and held a plank position for one minute. Both activities proved to be very difficult.
